Prudential Tower - Back Bay skyscraper with long-standing observation tradition

The Prudential Tower at 800 Boylston Street is a 52-story skyscraper completed in 1964 that forms the core of the Prudential Center complex in Back Bay. For decades the tower housed a public observation facility known as the Skywalk Observatory that provided panoramic views across Boston and the region. The tower remains one of Boston's tallest buildings and a prominent feature of the Back Bay skyline.
