Henry McKenzie House

The Henry McKenzie House, also known as the Dalrymple House, is a historic two-story wood-frame residence located at 324 East Main Street in Prescott, Arkansas. Built in 1902, it is recognized for its well-preserved transitional Queen Anne/Colonial Revival architectural style, featuring decorative shingle siding and diamond-pane windows. Although attributed to designer Charles L. Thompson, this claim lacks definitive evidence. A notable alteration occurred in the 1950s when Ionic columns were removed from the porch during renovations. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1998, making it a significant site for both tourists and researchers interested in architectural history.
