Colman Dock / Seattle–Bainbridge Ferry viewpoint

Colman Dock is the main Seattle terminal for the Washington State Ferries route to Bainbridge Island; the ferry crossing and the dock's waiting areas provide an extended moving viewpoint of the downtown skyline, Elliott Bay, and shipping traffic. Riders on the ferry frequently use the open vehicle decks and passenger decks to photograph the city from the water as the boat approaches or leaves Seattle. The terminal's location on the central waterfront makes it an accessible, transit-linked vantage different from fixed land overlooks.
