Sfatul Țării Palace

The Sfatul Țării Palace, located in Central Chișinău, Moldova, is a historically significant building that served as the meeting place for the Sfatul Țării assembly, which declared the independence of the Moldavian Democratic Republic in 1917 and its union with Romania in 1918. Despite suffering heavy damage during the Second World War, the palace has been restored and now houses the Academy of Music, Theatre and Fine Arts, making it a cultural hub in the city.
