Reading Terminal Market

Reading Terminal Market opened in 1893 beneath the Reading Railroad shed and has operated continuously as an indoor public market since that time. The market contains dozens of vendors selling produce, meats, baked goods, and prepared foods and is housed in a National Historic Landmark structure associated with the Reading Railroad. It remains one of the nation's largest and most historically intact public markets.
