Inter Expo Center

The Inter Expo Center (IEC) in Sofia, Bulgaria, is the largest convention and exhibition venue in the city, featuring six exhibition halls and eight congress halls, along with outdoor exhibition spaces. Opened in 2001, it has undergone multiple expansions, including the addition of a congress center in 2003 and further exhibition halls in 2008. The center is easily accessible via the nearby Tsarigradsko shose Metro Station, which was renamed in its honor. A significant renovation of the congress halls took place in 2019, enhancing its facilities for events and exhibitions, making it a key destination for tourists and researchers alike.
