Bell Farm (Indian Head, Saskatchewan)

Bell Farm, established in 1882 by William Robert Bell, is a significant heritage site located in Indian Head, Saskatchewan, covering 60,000 acres. Known for its unique round barn, which served as both a silo and lookout tower, the farm was a pioneer in agricultural practices and attracted tourists as trains would stop for passengers to observe its operations. The farm featured a large stone house, cottages, and extensive agricultural equipment, making it a hub of innovation in the region. Today, efforts led by the Bell Barn Society aim to restore the iconic barn and create an interpretive center, highlighting its historical importance in Western Canadian agriculture.
