Rothko Chapel

The Rothko Chapel is a non-denominational chapel and art installation in the Montrose neighborhood founded by John and Dominique de Menil. It houses 14 large-scale canvases by Mark Rothko and functions as a space for contemplative programming and interfaith events. The chapel is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is considered a cultural landmark in Montrose.
