Balboa Theatre - restored 1924 movie palace

The Balboa Theatre opened in 1924 as a vaudeville and movie palace and was restored and reopened in the 2000s as a live-performance venue. The restored Spanish-Baroque theater now presents touring musicals, concerts, film screenings, and special events and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
