Texas State Capitol (taller than the U.S. Capitol)

The Texas State Capitol, completed in 1888, serves as the seat of Texas government and houses the offices of the governor and legislature. The building's dome reaches 308 feet, which is commonly cited as 15 feet taller than the U.S. Capitol dome.
