Converse Hall (University of Vermont)

Converse Hall, constructed in 1895, is a historic residential dormitory at the University of Vermont in Burlington, showcasing rare Chateauesque architecture. This U-shaped building, made of Vermont marble, features distinctive gable ends with finials and turrets. Originally designed by the Wilson Brothers firm, it reflects the university's growth and has served various purposes, including barracks during the World Wars.
