Centre North East

Centre North East, the tallest building in Middlesbrough at 70.7 m (232 ft), was constructed in 1974 and features 19 storeys. Originally known as Corporation House, it has undergone various ownership changes and renovations, including a significant refurbishment by Cliff Court Developments in 2016. The building has hosted a variety of entertainment venues, including the bowling alley Lane7 from 2017 to 2022 and the nightclub Soho, which operated until June 2023.
