Fremont Street Experience canopy (Viva Vision)

The Fremont Street Experience is a five-block pedestrian mall in downtown Las Vegas capped by the Viva Vision canopy, first installed in 1995 to create a covered entertainment and retail corridor. The canopy transformed the streetscape architecture of historic Fremont Street by introducing a large-scale overhead structure for light and sound shows. The installation is a prominent late-20th-century intervention in the historic downtown fabric.
