The Oaks (Warrenton, Virginia)

The Oaks, also known as Innes Hill, is a historic home and farm located near Warrenton, Virginia, built between 1931 and 1933 in the Classical Revival style. The property features a striking two-story portico with fluted columns, alongside various outbuildings including an Italianate stable from 1847, a smokehouse, and a summerhouse. Notably, it was the site of one of Virginia's last duels in 1881, making it a significant historical landmark. The Oaks was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002, attracting both tourists and researchers interested in Virginia's rich history.
