Glen Oak is a historic mansion located in Nashville, Tennessee, built in 1854 for Reverend Charles Tomes and his wife Henrietta. The house has a rich history, including its occupation by the Union Army during the Civil War and its later ownership by notable figures such as Confederate General Richard S. Ewell. Designed in the Gothic Revival style, Glen Oak is recognized for its architectural significance and has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1983. The surrounding area, known as Hillsboro Village, was developed in 1911, adding to the site's historical charm.
