Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign

The Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign is a landmark roadside sign designed by Betty Willis and installed in 1959 on the south end of the Las Vegas Strip. It was intended as a promotional sign marking the entrance to the city and has become an iconic photographic installation visited by tourists. The sign stands on a median and is managed as a public landmark with a dedicated parking and pedestrian area nearby.
