Western Fields

Western Fields is a historic Greek Revival-style home located in Hebron, Maryland, dating back to around 1790. This unique three-part 'telescope' dwelling features a main block built in 1845 and has been expanded over the years. The property includes a tenant house, corn crib, and a small family cemetery, reflecting its agricultural heritage. Notably, the Maple Leaf Farm Potato House was relocated to the site in 1997. Owned by the influential Phillips family since 1825, Western Fields was recognized for its historical significance by being listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987, making it an intriguing destination for tourists and researchers alike.
