Benjamin Aldrich Homestead

The Benjamin Aldrich Homestead, located in Colebrook, New Hampshire, is a historic farm property established in 1846, making it the oldest surviving homestead in the area. Nestled on a scenic hillside overlooking the Connecticut River, the site features a main house with Greek Revival architecture, several barns, and other outbuildings. It was recognized for its historical significance with listings on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003 and the New Hampshire State Register in 2002. The homestead remains a rare example of a 19th-century farmstead, having been preserved in its original form and maintained by Aldrich's descendants until 1988.
