Institute of Contemporary Art (waterfront building)

The Institute of Contemporary Art's waterfront building at 25 Harbor Shore Drive, designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro and opened in 2006, is known for its dramatic cantilevered form extending over the Fort Point Channel. The museum houses rotating contemporary art exhibitions, a theater, and a public plaza and boardwalk that connect the building to the Harborwalk.
