San Antonio Riders - WLAF team (1991–1992)

The San Antonio Riders were a World League of American Football franchise that played in San Antonio for the 1991 and 1992 seasons. The team played its home games at Alamo Stadium and competed in the WLAF's North American division. The WLAF suspended operations after the 1992 season and the Riders franchise folded thereafter. The Riders are a documented part of San Antonio's early-1990s professional football history.
