John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts (Foggy Bottom)

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts opened in 1971 as the national center for the performing arts and serves as a living memorial to President Kennedy. The center houses multiple resident companies and presents theater, dance, orchestral, and popular music performances year-round. Its Millennium Stage offers free daily performances and outreach programs to the Washington community.
