Public Ministry of Peru Building

The Public Ministry of Peru Building, located on Abancay Avenue in Lima's historic center, is an architectural landmark completed in 1952. Designed by architect Guillermo Payet in the modernist style, it features a striking marble exterior adorned with bas-reliefs by artists Artemio Ocaña and Luis Felipe Agurto Olaya. Inside, visitors can admire a mural by Teodoro Núñez Ureta in the lobby. This significant structure not only serves as the headquarters for the Public Ministry but also witnessed notable events, including protests in 2022, making it a point of interest for both tourists and researchers.
