Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture

The Burke Museum at the University of Washington holds one of the largest collections of Pacific Northwest Indigenous cultural materials and regularly exhibits Native artifacts, carvings, and contemporary Indigenous art. The museum conducts research with tribal partners and participates in repatriation and consultation processes under federal law (NAGPRA). Its galleries and programs present regional Indigenous histories and living cultural practices to the public.
