Lee Harvey Oswald Rooming House

The Lee Harvey Oswald Rooming House, located at 1026 N. Beckley Avenue in Dallas, Texas, served as the temporary residence of Oswald during a pivotal moment in American history. Renting a room for $8 a week starting October 14, 1963, Oswald lived there while working at the nearby Texas School Book Depository. The house, built in 1935 and now part of the Lake Cliff historic district, has been preserved as a museum by Gladys Johnson's granddaughter, Patricia Hall.
