Dr. Philip Syng Physick House

The Physick House is a small late‑18th/early‑19th‑century rowhouse preserved as the home of surgeon Philip Syng Physick (1768–1837), often called the 'father of American surgery.' The house contains period furnishings and medical artifacts associated with his practice.
