Lake Youngs Reservoir - Seattle water storage impoundment

Lake Youngs Reservoir is an artificial impoundment owned and managed by Seattle Public Utilities as part of the city’s municipal water system. It functions as a raw-water storage and settling basin receiving water delivered from upstream watershed sources. The reservoir and surrounding watershed are closed to the general public to protect drinking-water quality.
