Asian Art Museum

The Asian Art Museum relocated in 2003 to the renovated former San Francisco Main Library building in the Civic Center and focuses exclusively on Asian art across many periods and regions. Its collection numbers in the tens of thousands of objects, spanning millennia and including significant works in ceramics, sculpture, textiles, and prints. The museum also presents rotating special exhibitions, public programs, and educational initiatives related to Asian visual culture.
