Royal Insurance Building, Liverpool

The Royal Insurance Building, now the Aloft Liverpool Hotel, is a remarkable example of Neo-Baroque architecture located in the heart of Liverpool. Constructed between 1896 and 1903, it was the head office of the Royal Insurance Company and is notable for being the earliest building in the UK to utilize a steel frame. The building features a grand façade with intricate details, including a three-stage campanile and ornate windows. After falling into disrepair, it was rescued and transformed into a hotel, opening in 2014.
