The Jarvis

The Jarvis is a historic apartment building located at 27 Everett Street, adjacent to Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Constructed in 1890, this 4+1⁄2-story brick structure is notable for being one of the earliest apartment houses in the area, designed to blend in with the surrounding fashionable residences of the time. Its architecture features irregular Queen Anne massing, vibrant polychrome trim, and prominent corbelled end chimneys. The building was recognized for its historical significance and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986, making it an interesting site for tourists and researchers alike.
