Old Police Station and Courthouse, Coolah

The Old Police Station and Courthouse, located in Coolah, New South Wales, is a heritage-listed site built between 1878 and 1880, designed by renowned Colonial Architect James Barnet. This unique building served multiple functions as a courthouse, police station, lockup, and residence, showcasing Colonial architectural style with brick and stone construction. It is one of the few remaining examples from the Victorian era of combined police and court buildings, reflecting the cultural history of the region. The site was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register in 1999, highlighting its significance as one of the oldest public buildings in Coolah.
