Omni Parker House

The Parker House hotel at 60 School Street opened in 1855 and is one of Boston’s oldest continuously operating hotels, located adjacent to the Old Corner Bookstore site and Boston Common. The hotel popularized the Parker House roll and is associated with the Boston cream pie, both culinary items commonly linked to the property's dining history. Notable literary and political figures historically stayed or dined at the Parker House, making it a long-standing downtown Beacon Hill neighborhood icon.
