One60 Elgin

One60 Elgin, formerly known as Place Bell, is a prominent office tower located in downtown Ottawa, Ontario. Standing at 94 metres tall with 27 storeys, it is the 12th tallest building in the Ottawa-Gatineau region. Originally built in 1971 as the headquarters for Bell Canada, the building features a unique wide structure designed to complement the nearby Peace Tower. The main level hosts a shopping concourse, while the rear includes a parking garage. After several ownership changes and extensive renovations, it was renamed One60 Elgin in 2017. Notably, the building has also contributed to environmental efforts by installing beehives on its roof. It has appeared in popular culture, including the opening sequence of the TV show 'You Can't Do That On Television.'
