Smith, Bell and Company House

The Smith, Bell and Company House, also known as the Angela Manalang Gloria Ancestral House, is a significant Spanish-era structure located in Tabaco, Albay, Philippines. Recognized as a national cultural heritage site, it is the largest ancestral house in Tabaco. Originally built to serve as the offices for the Smith, Bell and Company, a trading firm established in 1868 that specialized in the abaca industry, the house showcases unique architecture made from stone, mortar, and molasses. In 1965, it was purchased by poet Angela Manalang-Gloria, who transformed it into her residence, adding to its historical and cultural value.
