Portland Japanese Garden (traditional Japanese garden buildings)

Portland Japanese Garden, located in Washington Park, features multiple traditional structures including a tea house, cultural village buildings, and a visitor center designed to complement classical Japanese garden design. The garden was developed with input from Japanese artisans and landscape designers and opened to the public in 1967, with expansions and new cultural buildings added in later decades. It is widely regarded as one of the most authentic Japanese gardens outside Japan.
