Hill House, Saffron Walden

Hill House is a historic 19th-century building located at 75 High Street in Saffron Walden, Essex, England. Originally purchased in 1845 by banker and botanist George Stacey Gibson and his wife Elizabeth, the house remained in the Gibson family for generations. Their daughter, Mary Wyatt Gibson, lived there until 1934. The property is now divided into 17 flats and was designated as a Grade II listed building in 1972. Visitors can explore the surrounding area, which features streets named after the family, including Gibson Gardens, Gibson Way, and Gibson Close.
