California Building and Tower (Balboa Park, 1915)

The California Building and its tower were constructed for the 1915 Panama-California Exposition in Balboa Park. The building long housed the San Diego Museum of Man and today is the Museum of Us, preserving anthropological collections and exhibits. The restored California Tower is an early 20th-century landmark that reopened for public tours after conservation work in the 2010s.
