Daily Telegraph Building

The Daily Telegraph Building, also known as Peterborough Court, is a stunning Art Deco office structure located at 135–141 Fleet Street in London. Designed by Charles Ernest Elcock and opened in 1928, it features striking Egyptian decorations and a monumental colonnade façade. Standing eight storeys tall and made of Portland stone, the building is notable for its large clock above the street level. It has been a Grade II listed building since 1983. Originally the headquarters of The Daily Telegraph, it has a rich history, including serving as the European headquarters for Goldman Sachs from 1991 to 2019. Currently owned by members of the Qatari royal family, plans for a £90 million redevelopment were announced in 2021, making it a point of interest for both tourists and researchers alike.
