Guardian Building - Art Deco landmark

Completed in 1929 as the Union Trust Building, the Guardian Building is renowned for its colorful Art Deco and tile mosaic interior and exterior ornamentation. It was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1989 and is often called the 'Cathedral of Finance' for its elaborate banking hall. The building houses offices and public banking space and its lobby and decorative features are accessible to visitors.
