Villa Plinianina

Villa Plinianina is a historic patrician rural palace situated on the picturesque shores of Lake Como in Torno, Lombardy, Italy. Named after a nearby spring linked to Pliny the Elder, the villa's origins date back to 1570 when Giovanni Anguissola constructed a house on the property. Over the years, it has changed hands, notably owned by the Caprera family and later by countess Alessandrina de Mondran in 1839. The current structure, built around 1855, showcases the architectural styles of its time and offers a glimpse into the region's noble heritage, making it an intriguing destination for tourists and researchers alike.
