Brænderigården, Slagelse

Brænderigården, or 'The Distillery House', is a historic building in Slagelse, Denmark, constructed in 1807 by miller Hans Abelin Schou. Originally a distillery, it operated for nearly a century before transitioning to various uses, including a courthouse and residential apartments. The building, listed as a protected site in 1918, showcases unique architecture with a yellow-plastered facade and brick from the demolished Antvorskov Castle. Visitors can appreciate its historical significance and architectural features while exploring the surrounding area, which includes landscaped grounds.
