Shubra Palace

Shubra Palace, located in Taif, Saudi Arabia, is a historic royal palace built in 1905 by Al-Shareef Ali Basha. Originally constructed as a two-storey house in 1858, it was transformed into a grand palace and served as a summer residence for King Abdul Aziz and King Faisal. The palace features stunning architecture with four floors, intricate latticework, and luxurious marble interiors. In 1995, it was converted into a museum showcasing the rich history and culture of the region, including artifacts from the Pre-Islamic and Islamic eras, ancient weapons, and traditional crafts. Visitors can explore its extensive collection, which highlights the historical significance of Taif and its renowned rose oil production.
