Holmblad House

The Holmblad House, also known as Sølvgården, is a historic building located at Sølvgade 38 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Originally an 18th-century dyeing facility founded by Jacob Holmblad, the house showcases Baroque architecture with its two-storey structure and distinctive mansard roof. Holmblad, a Swedish immigrant, revolutionized dye production in Denmark and contributed to the Royal Life Guards' uniforms. The building has housed notable residents, including a bishop and a composer. Today, after a renovation, it features 13 apartments and commercial spaces, making it a blend of historical significance and modern living.
