Bexar County Courthouse (J. Riely Gordon design)

The Bexar County Courthouse was constructed between 1891 and 1896 and was designed by architect J. Riely Gordon in the Romanesque Revival style. The pink granite and limestone courthouse is a major example of late 19th-century civic architecture in downtown San Antonio and continues to serve as the county courthouse. Its prominent corner tower and detailed masonry ornamentation make it a distinctive historic landmark.
