Cepelia Pavilion

The Cepelia Pavilion is a modernist architectural gem located in the heart of Warsaw, Poland. Opened in 1966, it originally served as a store for Cepelia, an association of needlework artists, showcasing unique craftsmanship. Designed by Zygmunt Stępiński, the pavilion features a striking façade adorned with turquoise ceramic tiles and geometric patterns. After a period of decline and various proposed transformations, it was restored and reopened in December 2024 as an Empik store, offering books and media products. The pavilion's rich history, architectural significance, and recent renovations make it a fascinating stop for tourists and researchers alike.
