Alumni House (College of William & Mary)

The Alumni House, originally known as the Bright House, is a historic 19th-century building located on the College of William & Mary's campus in Williamsburg, Virginia. Believed to have antebellum origins, it has witnessed significant historical events, including the Civil War. The house served various purposes, including as a fraternity residence and faculty housing, before becoming the Alumni House in 1972. A major renovation completed in 2020 expanded the building while preserving its historic character, making it a versatile venue for events and meetings. The adjacent Elizabeth and T.C. Clarke Memorial Plaza adds to its charm, commemorating the college's rich history.
