Temple is a prominent nightclub located in San Francisco and Denver, known for its unique spaceship theme inspired by 1980s sci-fi films and the Burning Man festival. The San Francisco location features innovative elements like the first energy-generating dance floor in the U.S. and a separate basement club, LVL 55, which offers a different musical vibe. Despite its success, Temple faced challenges, including a notorious incident in 2011 that damaged its reputation and recent financial difficulties leading to its planned closure in May 2024.
