Burhani Mosque

Burhani Mosque, also known as Masjid Al-Burhani, is the only Shia mosque in Singapore, located at Hill Street near City Hall MRT station. It serves as the main place of worship for the local Dawoodi Bohra community, which has roots in Singapore dating back to the late 19th century. Originally established in 1829, the mosque underwent significant renovations and was transformed into a modern three-story building by 2000. The mosque is not only a place of worship but also a cultural landmark reflecting the rich history of Shi'ism in Singapore.
