Charlestown Navy Yard - Dry Dock No. 1 and 19th-century shipyard remains

Charlestown Navy Yard's Dry Dock No. 1 was constructed in 1833–1834 and is the oldest dry dock in the United States still in use; the yard contains surviving 19th-century shipyard buildings, wharves, and masonry infrastructure. Many of these industrial-era structures and masonry features are preserved as tangible remains of Boston's naval and shipbuilding history. The yard is part of the Boston National Historical Park and includes the berth for USS Constitution and related historic shipyard fabric.
