Blanton Museum of Art - large university collection

The Blanton Museum of Art at the University of Texas at Austin houses a permanent collection of more than 18,000 works, making it one of the largest university art collections in the United States. Its holdings span European paintings, contemporary American and Latin American art, prints, and drawings. The museum opened its modern facility on the UT campus in 2006 and presents rotating special exhibitions alongside its permanent collection.
