The International Convention Center of the City of Madrid was an ambitious skyscraper project planned to reach 119 meters in height, featuring three auditoriums with a capacity for 30,000 people. Although construction began, it was halted in 2012 due to financial issues after €100 million was spent. The site has since been repurposed for Caleido, a new 181-meter skyscraper that will include a private university, a hospital, and a shopping center. This transformation reflects Madrid's evolving urban landscape and offers a glimpse into the city's architectural ambitions.
